AM1320 DONATES $1,000 TO CANCER-STRUCK WELSH WOMAN

On December 14, 2005, Teresa Wat , CEO & COO of Mainstream Broadcasting Corporation, CHMB AM1320, presented a cheque of $1,000 to John Davies to help cover the huge medical cost for his wife, Sylvia, who was struck with brain cancer while the couple was traveling in Vancouver.
¡§We came to learn about the sad situation of. Sylvia through our PR Director, Henry Fetigan, who is the past president of the Rotary Club of Vancouver Chinatown. It is very unfortunate that the insurance company would not cover her medical costs. When the couple reported the problem to their U.K. insurance company, they were told the costs would not be covered because Sylvia¡¦s illness was something the company considered to be a pre-existing condition.
