¡°I Want to Go to Sichuan¡± Contest

Prizes:
There will be 10 top-prize winners among which for will be chosen for their articles, three for their photographs and three for their paintings. Besides, There will be several First, Second and Third Prize winners. The top 10 winners will be offered a free trip to China¡¯s Sichuan Province in September 2010.
How to Enter:
Entries for the contest can take the form of articles, photos, paintings and handicrafts, but must be on the theme of Sichuan. You can submit any number of entries and to all categories (articles, photos, paintings and handicrafts) or to just one of them. China Radio International (CRI) has held two contests on Sichuan, the first in 2006 and more recently in 2008. Both contests presented insights into Sichuan Province¡¯s rich culture and abundant tourism resource. Starting form January 1st to July 1st, 2010, CRI will conduct another event titled ¡°I Want to Go to Sichuan.¡± CRI will collect articles, photos, paintings and handicrafts on the theme of Sichuan.

If you have been to Sichuan and were fascinated by this area of southwestern China, please share with us your experiences. If you haven¡¯t been to Sichuan, then please send us your article on Sichuan outlining your expectations and imaginings of this area. Please note that we cannot return entries to you. We are also not liable for any entries that are lost or damaged.
How to Submit: There are no limitations on the length of an article or the writing style (poetry is also welcome). Give your entry a title and do not forget to include the name of the entrant, as well as add his/her nationality, age, occupation and contact detail (e-mail and telephone number).
Photos:
What kind of pictures do you believe best capture the spirit of Sichuan? We are looking forward to seeing your photos, learning the stories behind your work, as well as sharing your pictures with readers form all around the world.
How to submit: The photos should be no larger than five mega pixels each. Each entry can include one photograph or a group of photos, but the photographs should all be original and entrants must include captions detailing where and when the picture was taken and what the photo is about. A story should also accompany the photograph(s). Give your entry a title and do not forget to include the name of the entrant, as well as add his/her nationality, age, occupation and contact detail (e-mail and telephone number). Please note that we cannot return entries to you. We are also not liable for any entries that are lost or damaged.
Paintings and Handicrafts:
We all know how one small souvenir can transport us back to somewhere we have traveled, and so it will be an honor for us to receive your paintings or handicrafts may help you to win a prize in our contest. So do not hesitate to send us your innovative works.
