On February 8th, 2008, the Government of British Columbia celebrated Chinese New Year and the Year of the Rat.  Premier Gordon Campbell presented Teresa Wat, CEO of Mainstream Broadcasting Corporation and Chinese Canadian Times, with a certificate of gratitude and appreciation.
